After completing that energy depleting angel I needed a break!! This time I picked a more dynamic subject, with less details but some movement and soul. A dancer would do the job. I found an existing artwork online, and the credit for it goes to the unknown artist (if that’s you, please reach out and I’ll mention you here!).
This was way simpler than the angel, but at the same time her hands and the dress melting with the background proved to be challenging enough

As you can see from this blurry image, the first layer was really sloppy.. despite my smiley face added to cheer you up

I then added the background and fixed the hands shape and her face. Her belly was still off path vs her leg, but it was starting to make sense

After multiple sessions, I let the background dry and added more fire to the scene. Still very confusing, so I had to tone it down in the following session
