This one was done while attending a course – it was a bit challenging due to the big A3 paper (I usually draw on smaller book-sized ones) where I find proportions are harder to measure, and his jawline – difficult to trace with precision.
I finished it at home, and this time I improved by marking harder contrast (using 6B pencil). It has a depth that my usual drawings lack, and I should use this technique more often. It’s not exactly him, there are still some “off” parts. But some friends recognised him without prompts – that’s good enough for now 🙂
