After the lion was completed, the challenge was to replicate the approach to a known face, someone recognisable, so I’ve took a great portrait of actor Christopher Walken, someone I also drew in the past (remember, more cowbell?):

Isn’t it a great photo? I think so.
The strong contrast helps highlighting his face structure, even though it was really challenging to reinterpret. Here’s the documented progress:
